The above mural titled "Putting Power Into the FUTURE" was a collaboration between the Chicago Public Art Group and F.U.T.U.R.E. Foundation during the summer of 1991 as community engagement project. The mural is approximately 14' x 150' and commemorates the millions of African-Americans who lost their lives during the Middle-Passage and portraits the present and future aspirations of building a brighter tomorrow.
